Serotonin and Norepinephrine Reuptake Inhibitors (SNRIs)
Serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs) are a new type
of antidepressant medication that may alleviate pain caused by
neuropathy. These drugs affect the nerve cells in the brain and inhibit
the production and release of specific neurotransmitters (serotonin and
norepinephrine).
Examples of serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors include:
